Project Manager - Transformation (Healthcare)

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA; remote work is listed, while the work environment may be hybrid or on-site based on company needs and policies. Occasional business travel is required.

Behavioral Health Group is a large, multi-site healthcare organization focused on addiction treatment and behavioral health services.

What you will do

• Lead strategic transformation initiatives from initial concept and planning through implementation, stabilization, adoption, and measurable results.
• Coordinate operational, clinical, technology, and corporate workstreams, including dependencies, milestones, resources, risks, and competing priorities.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, project plans, workplans, sequencing, and ownership structures.
• Collect and analyze performance data, define success measures, identify risks and opportunities, and support evidence-based decisions.
• Facilitate alignment, resolve roadblocks, follow up on commitments, and create accountability across teams without direct authority.
• Prepare concise progress, performance, risk, decision, and next-step updates for senior leaders and the Board.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project or program management experience, preferably with strategic, enterprise, or transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation and managing multiple workstreams.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability without direct authority.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, or similar project management tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multi-site healthcare or behavioral health organization.
• Experience with enterprise transformation, organizational change, strategic initiatives, or management consulting.
• PMP or another relevant project or program management certification.
