Field Service Manager (Commercial Refrigeration)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; onsite. Travel within the region and work outside normal hours may be required.

What you will do

• Oversee service operations for assigned teams, including contracts, emergency service, quoted work, renewals, warranty claims, and change requests.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate field service technicians, including recommendations for promotions, training, merit increases, and disciplinary actions.
• Source and maintain customer relationships within the assigned district and support customer maintenance and growth.
• Assist with forecasts, cost-saving opportunities, risk assessment, customer contracts, estimates, and department manpower planning.
• Support technician recruitment, candidate selection, offer preparation, billing, and collections.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and support safety prevention, investigation, reporting, training, and corrective actions in accordance with OSHA and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• High school education or five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work outside normal working hours and travel within the region as required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Working knowledge of basic refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Strong business acumen.
