Temporary Full Time - Cardiac Monitoring Technician

Location: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in office. Must reside within 50 miles of San Francisco, CA, or 70 miles of Deerfield, IL, or Houston, TX. Approximately 6 weeks of training must be completed in office.

Estimated pay range: $23.95–$27.78 per hour.

What you will do

• Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and complete data quality.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and recognize clinically significant cardiac events.
• Communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians when needed.
• Perform quality assurance on every report and make required modifications before final delivery.
• Develop ECG interpretation skills while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow best clinical practices.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on cardiac rhythm interpretation experience in a clinical, diagnostic, monitoring, or telemetry environment.
• Experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician, Telemetry Technician, Holter Scanner, ECG Technician, Cardiac Technician, or in an equivalent cardiac rhythm analysis role.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience working with healthcare quality, accuracy, and productivity standards.
• Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to work across multiple software applications.
• Candidates without RN, EMT-P, or CCT certification must obtain CCT certification within 120 days of hire.

Nice to have

• RN, EMT-P, CCT, CRAT, or EKG certification.
• Associate degree or coursework in cardiovascular technology, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with remote cardiac monitoring, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, Holter monitoring, or telemetry services.
