Senior Director, FP&A (SaaS)

Location: Remote; West Coast preferred. The company is remote-native and distributed globally, with talent welcomed from anywhere.

Base salary: $215,000–$250,000 per year, plus potential bonus or commission plans, benefits, and equity awards.

What you will do

• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly forecasting processes.
• Build and maintain financial models covering ARR, revenue, headcount, expenses, gross margin, cash flow, and SaaS metrics.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages, variance analysis, projections, and actionable insights.
• Lead board reporting, board decks, investor materials, and financial presentations.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, and HR on headcount, compensation, budgets, pipeline coverage, and territory ROI.
• Support fundraising, investor diligence, pricing, capital allocation, M&A analysis, process improvement, automation, and financial governance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related analytical roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
• Deep expertise in ARR/MRR, GRR, NRR, LTV:CAC, Rule of 40, and burn multiple.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience preparing materials for and presenting to executive leadership and a board of directors.
• Strong business partnering skills and the ability to translate financial complexity into practical recommendations.
• Hands-on experience using LLM tools with Excel and FP&A platforms, plus a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adaptive, Anaplan, Mosaic, or Pigment.
• Big 4 experience, MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA.
