Director, Developer GTM Finance (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, San Francisco, or New York. Offer-stage candidates may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Estimated annual salary: $239,000–$329,000 for Bay Area hires or $229,000–$315,000 for New York City area hires, adjusted depending on work location.

What you will do

• Own developer platform and self-serve revenue forecasts, annual planning, quarterly planning, target-setting, scenario analysis, and resource allocation.
• Evaluate strategic deals, including deal structures, payment terms, margin implications, and partnership economics.
• Build reusable financial frameworks for consumption-based and hybrid commercial models with Pricing, Deal Desk, R&D Finance, infrastructure, and other partners.
• Develop product economics visibility across products, revenue streams, usage patterns, and cost structures.
• Translate complex business performance into clear executive reporting and narrative-driven recommendations.
• Lead monthly close, forecast, variance analysis, budget management, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, FP&A, strategic finance, or a similar highly analytical role.
• Operational experience at a fast-paced, scaling company, preferably a high-growth public-company SaaS or cloud infrastructure business.
• Experience as an embedded finance partner to a senior GTM or business leader at a technology company.
• Strong knowledge of consumption-based revenue mechanics, cloud and AI infrastructure economics, pricing strategy, and financial modeling.
• Ability to work independently through ambiguous problems, build analytical frameworks from scratch, and influence senior leaders through clear communication.
• AI-native approach and active use of AI tooling to accelerate analysis and decision-making.
