Resuscitation Program Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote, with candidates required to live in Alberta or Saskatchewan, Canada, have access to a car, and travel within the region as needed.

Applicants must currently reside in Canada and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Heart & Stroke promotes health, saves lives, and enhances recovery through cardiovascular health, resuscitation, and first aid initiatives across Canada.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with instructors, instructor trainers, training institutions, professional organizations, and other regional stakeholders.
• Support the adoption, delivery, growth, and sustainability of resuscitation programs across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
• Monitor program quality and compliance, assess complaints and quality issues, and support investigations, resolutions, and escalations.
• Use Salesforce, reports, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, inform decisions, and improve network performance and program quality.
• Coordinate regional implementation, timelines, stakeholders, resources, events, volunteers, and updates aligned with national standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and act as a liaison between the external training network and Heart & Stroke.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or certificate in business, health science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in project or program management, relationship management, customer service, business development, or corporate sales.
• Strong organization, communication, judgment, critical thinking, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively in matrixed, remote teams.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using Salesforce or another CRM to turn data into insights and actions.
• Current residence in Canada and legal entitlement to work in Canada are required.

Nice to have

• Adult education certification or training.
• Heart & Stroke Instructor certification or instructional experience with another agency.
• Knowledge of provincial healthcare systems, resuscitation training agencies, medical terminology, or life support equipment.
• Healthcare or not-for-profit experience.
• French/English bilingualism.
