Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (React)

Location: New York, New York, USA; hybrid workplace

Salary: $130,000–$300,000 USD per year, plus equity and possible variable compensation.

What you will do

• Build intuitive, responsive frontend features for monitoring complex systems and large datasets.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to refine and validate product concepts.
• Break down complex features into engineering tasks and rollout plans.
• Design and deliver features used by thousands of customers, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Develop reusable components with the in-house design system and experiment with new frontend patterns and tooling.
• Own meaningful parts of the service, improve performance, and address scalability limits.

Requirements

• Several years of experience designing and engineering user interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem and current frontend technologies.
• Ability to use design patterns to create simple, reusable components for complex user interfaces.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, profiling, and optimization.
• Experience using AI coding tools in daily workflows and validating, critiquing, and refining AI-generated output.
• Some roles may require eligibility for authorizations from the US government under US export control regulations.
