Software Engineer, Client Experience Frameworks (Frontend)

Location: New York, NY. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $134,000–$168,000 annual base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain framework-agnostic UI components, design-system primitives, and component-library foundations.
• Support adoption and migration of the design system across product engineering teams using multiple frontend technologies.
• Improve developer experience through build tooling, testing infrastructure, documentation, and automation.
• Write declarative, accessible, well-tested, reusable component code focused on long-term maintainability.
• Participate in design reviews covering component architecture, API design, performance, accessibility, and web standards.
• Work across multiple frontend frameworks and help guide technical direction and adoption.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience, including internships.
• Solid TypeScript or JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with at least one modern UI framework such as React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, or Ember.
• Familiarity with the DOM, browser APIs, component rendering, web standards, and build tools or bundlers such as Webpack or Vite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort participating in code reviews and learning from experienced engineers.
