Sr Technical Program Manager

Location: On site in Southlake, Texas; Austin, Texas; or San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: USD $140,000–$185,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead strategic, cross-functional programs for the Site Reliability Engineering organization.
• Develop roadmaps, governance practices, milestones, controls, and measurable outcomes for reliability and availability initiatives.
• Guide automation initiatives covering incident response, operational workflows, observability, deployment, and toil reduction.
• Coordinate critical production activities such as cutovers, data center failovers, product retirements, and disaster recovery.
• Use reliability and delivery metrics to identify risks, evaluate outcomes, and support decision-making.
• Align application development, infrastructure, product, GCC, and offshore vendor teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience in enterprise technology environments.
• 4+ years leading Site Reliability Engineering, production operations, platform reliability, or infrastructure reliability programs.
• Experience leading at least three cross-functional programs and delivering at least two production automation initiatives.
• Experience with program roadmaps, governance, performance metrics, risk management, regulatory or internal controls, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams, critical production activities, technical communications, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ITIL, or a similar recognized certification.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, stakeholder management, collaborative relationships, and systems engineering.
