TL;DR
Customs Compliance Analyst (Trade Compliance/CBSA): Supporting Canadian customs and trade compliance programs, audits, forced labour compliance, and regulatory reporting with an accent on PIP/CSA/CARM administration, risk assessment, and process improvement. Focus on analyzing compliance data, maintaining SOPs and reporting systems, monitoring regulatory changes, and coordinating corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
Location: Hybrid work from the Mississauga office at Ambler Drive, Canada. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application. Panasonic Canada does not offer sponsorship for temporary work permits, visas, or permanent residency.
Annual salary: $60,000–$75,000 CAD.

What you will do
- Support the administration of CBSA Partners in Protection, Customs Self Assessment, and CARM programs by developing work plans and tracking compliance milestones.
- Coordinate Trade Chain Partner evaluations, risk assessments, audits, corrective actions, and ongoing trusted trader compliance activities.
- Maintain CBSA portals, compliance databases, reporting systems, SOPs, work instructions, KPIs, training materials, and audit documentation.
- Support forced labour compliance programs and other Canadian customs and trade compliance initiatives.
- Analyze compliance data, prepare reports and presentations, and communicate risks, recommendations, and performance metrics.
- Monitor CBSA D-Memos, CSCB publications, and industry guidance, recommending policy and process improvements.
Requirements
- Two-year Customs Administration diploma and at least five years of related customs or trade compliance experience.
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS) designations are required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience analyzing large volumes of compliance data, records, and related information systems.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required; visa and permanent residency sponsorship is not available.
