What you will do

• Manage supplier and portfolio activities: define sourcing requirements, select vendors, run business reviews, track supplier performance, and develop alternate sourcing/business continuity plans.
• Lead contract negotiation: negotiate pricing and terms, work with Legal on vendor supply agreements, and manage RFI/RFP and bid evaluation cycles.
• Coordinate stakeholder needs across Canada: support material planning, budgeting/PPV tracking and financial analysis, and assist R&D/QC/QA/Operations with qualifications and documentation.
• Drive performance: identify incremental cost savings, report rolling forecasted material costs, and extract procurement data for reporting at multiple business levels.
• Support special projects and global initiatives (e.g., HQ-led initiatives, ESG implementation, continuous improvement).

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent education/experience; relevant certificate or professional designation is an asset.
• Direct working knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost management.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems and tools including ERP/MRP, Microsoft Office, forecasting tools, and database management; SAP experience is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively with internal departments and external partners with strong relationship-building skills.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
