Staff Workday HRIS Technical Analyst (Workday)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; expected to work from a hirify.global office 3+ days a week. Relocation to a hirify.global hub may be supported. Hub locations include Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, and Santiago.

Salary: $161,000–$189,000 USD annually for San Francisco, CA.

What you will do

• Own the Workday platform roadmap, module adoption strategy, and alignment with twice-yearly releases.
• Configure, test, deploy, and optimize HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Manage business processes, security models, calculated fields, custom reporting, release regression testing, audits, and platform health checks.
• Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and APIs with HR, payroll, finance, analytics, and provisioning systems.
• Improve employee and manager self-service through workflow automation, notifications, navigation, and user-interface optimization.
• Evaluate Workday AI, machine learning, skills intelligence, and analytics capabilities while partnering with data and IT teams on scalable, private, and ethical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive HR technology experience with deep hands-on Workday configuration and optimization expertise.
• Experience across multiple Workday modules and with Workday integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of the Workday security model, business process framework, calculated fields, advanced reporting, process automation, and workflow design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work from a hirify.global hub office at least 3 days per week; relocation to a hub may be available.

Nice to have

• Workday certification at Pro level or equivalent.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
