Senior Workday HCM Analyst (AI)

Location: North Bethesda, Maryland, United States. Hybrid schedule with regular onsite work Monday through Thursday at the corporate headquarters and remote work on Fridays.

Salary: $99,919–$117,552 annual salary, plus eligibility for an annual bonus under the Management Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Absence, and Compensation modules.
• Translate business requirements into scalable configurations, workflows, validations, calculated fields, notifications, and documented solutions.
• Lead or support Workday releases through impact analysis, regression testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and change communication.
• Manage Workday security groups, role-based permissions, domain and business-process security, access reviews, segregation-of-duties controls, and audit requests.
• Build Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and reusable workforce reporting solutions while monitoring data integrity.
• Evaluate and pilot Workday AI, machine-learning, skills intelligence, talent insights, and intelligent automation capabilities with HR and IT stakeholders.

Requirements

• Five or more years of HR systems experience, including at least three years of hands-on Workday configuration and administration.
• Experience configuring and managing Workday security groups, domains, business-process security, and role-based access controls.
• Experience owning or supporting system releases from impact analysis and testing through deployment and change communication.
• Experience supporting Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and HR Operations.
• Strong Workday configuration and administration capabilities, including advanced Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reporting.
• Experience building dashboards and workforce reporting solutions for non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and emerging HR technology capabilities, plus strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to independently solve complex technical and business-process challenges, identify scalable solutions, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with HR, IT, business, and audit partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
