Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Professional Services)

What you will do

• Manage procurement and strategic sourcing for professional services, including consulting, marketing, legal, communications, and other external services.
• Own the full procurement lifecycle from needs assessment through contract execution, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Lead RFP and RFQ development, vendor evaluation, selection, negotiations, and performance management.
• Develop category management strategies and conduct market research, competitive analysis, and supplier benchmarking.
• Drive cost optimization, track savings realization, analyze spend patterns, and improve procurement processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and business stakeholders on purchase orders, payment processes, compliance, reporting, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive procurement experience, including professional services categories.
• Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, category management, vendor relationship, and contract management skills.
• Experience with market research, benchmarking, RFPs, competitive analysis, supplier evaluation, and performance management.
• Demonstrated cost optimization, savings achievement, risk assessment, stakeholder influence, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with procurement software, ERP systems, and procure-to-pay processes; Omnea experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain.
