Aircraft Mechanic (Aerospace)

Location: North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States; Workplace: On-site. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 per year, plus equity consideration.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, modifications, fault finding, and defect rectification on company and customer-owned aircraft.
• Conduct preflight and post-flight inspections and troubleshoot complex aircraft systems issues.
• Inspect and test hardware against specifications while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Maintain laboratory, ground support, and hangar equipment, including repairs and calibration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize aircraft availability and support company operations.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and aviation maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• A&P license.
• Experience or familiarity with aircraft maintenance; familiarity with specific aircraft models is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is required.
