Focus on diagnosing complex malfunctions, performing depot-level repairs, interpreting technical data, and maintaining compliance with FAA regulations and safety requirements.

What you will do

  • Perform advanced inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, disassembly, reassembly, and adjustments of aircraft and engine systems.
  • Inspect and test hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and electrical systems for leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose electrical and avionics faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, schematic diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in a high-tempo operational or depot environment.
  • Repair or replace structural components and coordinate complex repairs with avionics, structural, and other trades.
  • Maintain compliance with engineering instructions, technical specifications, FAA regulations, and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant aircraft structural maintenance experience on fixed- or rotary-wing commercial, government, or DoD aircraft.
  • 5+ years of depot-level maintenance experience with relevant aircraft systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting DoD contracts and strong knowledge of depot-level maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to use breathing equipment and safely handle aerospace materials and hazardous waste.

Nice to have

  • Previous Air Force Specialty Code 2A773 experience.
  • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification.
  • Advanced software application experience.
