Global Category Manager, Power (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; on-site

Compensation: $140,000–$170,000 per year plus bonus; restricted stock units included.

What you will do

• Develop and implement global sourcing and category strategies for hirify.global Cloud’s data center categories.
• Evaluate and manage strategic global suppliers, ensuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are met.
• Lead negotiations for supplier contracts, pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
• Manage supply-chain risks, contingency planning, supplier performance, and business continuity.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning, spend analysis, cost optimization, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Integrate sustainability practices and monitor market, industry, and category trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain/logistics, international trade, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Experience with global supply chains, complex supplier relationships, vendor compliance, and process improvements at scale.
• Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with global manufacturers and suppliers, including contract negotiation, supplier qualification, documentation, and performance management.
• Background working with hyperscalers, OEMs/ODMs, infrastructure providers, data centers, cloud, or hardware supply chains.

Nice to have

• Experience managing global categories across multiple regions.
• Experience with data center power categories such as busway/tapboxes, RPP/whip cables, PDCs, and in-rack PDUs.
• CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM certification.
• Experience with AI or data center infrastructure supply chains.
