Commercial Attorney Represented Casualty Examiner (Insurance)

Location: Richardson, TX, United States. The position is in-office with hybrid remote/in-office potential.

Salary: $88,663–$108,650 annually, commensurate with experience and location.

What you will do

• Investigate commercial casualty claims to determine policy coverage and liability.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle third-party injury claims.
• Handle attorney-represented bodily injury and uninsured motorist bodily injury demand claims.
• Maintain a pending claim diary through settlement and resolution.
• Provide efficient, accurate, and courteous customer interactions.
• Develop expertise in evaluating injuries of increasing complexity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience handling commercial attorney-represented bodily injury or uninsured motorist bodily injury demand claims.
• Commercial experience investigating and resolving coverage and liability matters.
• Strong written communication and professional, empathetic telephone communication skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and stressful situations.
• Ability to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to learn and apply substantial technical and procedural information; required state insurance licenses must be obtained and maintained.
