Technical Program Manager, Agile Targeting

Location: Remote, USA; approximately 30% travel required. Eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $145,000–$160,000 plus bonus and equity.

hirify.global is a startup developing software tools and intelligence for operators working in remote, disconnected, and extreme environments, including defense, security, and public safety missions.

What you will do

• Own the Agile Targeting delivery plan and align execution with customer commitments and Geospatial business-unit priorities.
• Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release planning, and tradeoffs across scope, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate dependencies across engine, client, cloud, and QA teams while tracking risks, readiness, KPIs, and post-release outcomes.
• Translate operator, customer, and field feedback into clearly scoped engineering requirements and delivery plans.
• Support customer discovery, demos, proposals, capture efforts, and executive briefings with public safety, Department of War, SOCOM, and coalition operators.
• Partner with engineering, Product, Business Development, and Program teams on architecture, integrations, technical debt, security, regulatory, and government-contracting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or a similar role.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• Experience owning software delivery across multiple engineering functions, including frontend, backend, cloud, and QA.
• Strong Agile delivery experience with backlog management, sprint and release planning, risk tracking, and readiness management.
• Technical fluency, strong prioritization and decision-making skills, stakeholder management ability, and an active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Nice to have

• Experience with GIS, geospatial technology, ISR/FMV, defense, tactical software, targeting-cycle doctrine, or DoD acquisition programs.
• Experience working with DoW, SOCOM, coalition, or public safety operators.
• Hands-on experience with FMV/ISR data, camera-based detection, cUAS planning, TAK, Cesium, ArcGIS, GDAL, GeoJSON, or C2 systems.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, or Python.
• Advanced degree or active security clearance.
