Senior Technical Program Manager (SaaS)

Location: Remote role associated with Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas; or Portland, Oregon, USA.

Estimated base pay: $146,000–$182,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for a corporate bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead technical programs from ideation through delivery, managing schedules, dependencies, roadblocks, and execution.
• Define and operationalize metrics and KPIs to track progress and support issue resolution.
• Create processes that improve organizational effectiveness and business goal delivery.
• Coordinate communication, collaboration, and commitment across cross-functional groups with competing priorities.
• Identify and manage program risks, facilitate decisions, and align leadership on appropriate risk levels.
• Facilitate meetings ranging from small working sessions to sessions with 100 or more participants.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience leading and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• 8+ years of delivering products against plan in fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and ambiguous environments.
• Hands-on experience leading large-scale software development projects, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Experience working with agile teams and adapting processes to program needs.
• Strong knowledge of program management fundamentals, including DACI, RACI, risk management, work breakdown structures, project tracking, and resource management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to use data to drive action and accountability across local and remote teams.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle and high-quality, low-overhead operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with financial systems, CRM systems, SaaS applications, Jira, high-growth companies, and cross-functional projects.
