Project Manager IV (People Operations/Payroll)

Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas, or remote within PST/CST

Salary: $80–$85 per hour

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end coordination for LOA Fix Stage 1, including Lincoln integration modifications and turning off salary proration.
• Align delivery across Lincoln, Time Away, EP, PayMeta, and Benefits teams.
• Manage workstream dependencies, risks, escalations, and status reporting.
• Coordinate integration testing across HR and payroll platforms.
• Prepare and support the Stage 2 face-to-face workshop in October.
• Provide project management support for US PayMeta BAU activities and broader Spend Cluster initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Payroll, or HR Technology.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Absence modules.
• Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, leave of absence policies, and system integrations.
• Experience managing concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lincoln Financial or similar absence and disability management vendors.
• Familiarity with end-to-end leave processing lifecycles.
• Experience in a technology company People Operations environment.
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with system integration testing across HR and payroll platforms.
