IT Project Manager

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States — hybrid/onsite

Pay rate: $72–82 per hour

What you will do

• Define and manage scope, schedules, resources, budgets, forecasts, and delivery for large and complex IT projects.
• Lead Waterfall project management activities, including quality control, status meetings, action tracking, invoice approvals, and change control.
• Identify project risks, perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage vendors through request-for-proposal reviews, contract evaluation, and vendor selection.
• Coordinate demand planning and improve PMO processes, methodologies, tools, and automation.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, project change strategies, and customer-facing and internal change management activities.

Requirements

• Hybrid/onsite availability in St. Louis, Missouri is required.
• PMP certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in project management, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, or project accounting.
• Experience with project budget, forecast, spend, and cost management systems.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, or comparable project management tools.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience working in large organizations or Fortune 500 companies.
