Contract Senior Project Manager (Healthcare IT)

Location: Office location or remote within the USA; potential travel up to 25%.

Compensation: $70.00–$80.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple large-scale software implementation projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for implementation of hirify.global core products and lead coordination meetings.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, gather requirements, align stakeholders, and maintain project plans, schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, track risks and issues, resolve blockers, and provide escalation updates to client and hirify.global leadership.
• Lead status reporting, change management reviews, contract modifications, and project performance improvements.
• Provide mentoring and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in project leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience with software development, implementation, or integration projects and a proficient understanding of the software implementation life cycle.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methods, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, with a record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and large, multi-threaded clinical projects with teams of more than eight members.
• ERP/MMIS experience, healthcare information technology or operational leadership experience, and experience with integration technologies such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, plus significant Microsoft Office experience.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Six Sigma experience.
• BPMN experience.
