What you will do

• Lead and manage data migration projects across financial systems.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate business analysts, data architects, IT teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee data validation, cleansing, testing, and post-migration data integrity.
• Manage resources, dependencies, status reporting, and project documentation.
• Drive compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance policies while improving migration methods.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience focused on data migration in financial services; the posting also specifies 8–10+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of data migration tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, data governance, risk, and controls.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical and business stakeholders, including senior client-facing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification.
• Experience within a PMO structure.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation deck creation skills.
