Hardware Support Engineer

What you will do

• Investigate, identify, and resolve complex technical issues for internal and external customers.
• Support and configure mobile computers, scanners, label printers, and other hirify.global data collection hardware.
• Integrate hardware with Dynamics AX, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud, and JDE environments.
• Configure hardware for customer warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Configure Telnet software such as Velocity and StayLinked and assist with printer installations.
• Create knowledge-base articles and document resolutions for lower-tier support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• At least one year of experience as a technical support analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience working in complex environments with customers and partners.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while balancing multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites occasionally, less than 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with AIDC barcoding hardware from Honeywell, Zebra, or Datalogic.
• Experience setting up and configuring label printers.
• Android OS experience.
• Knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing.
