Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico

What you will do

• Build and maintain open source AI integrations, frameworks, SDK extensions, notebooks, and reference applications for hirify.global B2 Cloud Storage.
• Create public sample applications demonstrating AI workflows, data orchestration, and cloud storage best practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Antigravity, and Codex while validating correctness, security, and performance.
• Contribute to open source projects through coding, issue triage, reviews, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain clean GitHub repositories with strong testing, reproducibility, developer usability, and community contribution standards.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to align integrations with customer AI workflows and hirify.global B2 usage patterns.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience contributing to open source projects in one or more widely used open source languages.
• Experience owning and maintaining public repositories for external users and contributors.
• Practical understanding of AI workflows, including data ingestion, preprocessing, inference, agent-based systems, and data orchestration.
• Experience writing production-quality code with strong testing and documentation practices.
• Strong written communication skills focused on developer experience and adoption.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, JavaScript, hirify.global B2 SDKs and REST APIs, open source AI tooling, Jupyter, Google Colab, GitHub, pytest, and CI pipelines.
