What you will do

• Configure, integrate, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Develop hands-on solutions in Gosu and work with the Guidewire data model.
• Design messaging, batch, and plugin integrations.
• Configure product models and business rules and support Guidewire Cloud upgrades.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions with product, engineering, operations, business analysts, and SMEs.
• Contribute through code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of Guidewire development experience; the position description also specifies seven or more years of overall experience.
• Deep expertise in Gosu programming, the Guidewire data model, product model configuration, and rule design.
• Hands-on customization experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter and familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Strong SQL, Guidewire database schema, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Guidewire ACE certification.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades, Digital portals, DataHub, or InfoCenter.
• Insurance domain expertise across property and casualty lines.
• Experience with reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs.
