Autonomous Vehicle Operations Specialist II

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States — onsite. Weekend, early morning, evening, and holiday work may be required, with 5–15% expected travel to other sites.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily site logistics and support safe autonomous vehicle operations.
• Monitor vehicle health and ensure vehicles and autonomous vehicle operators are observed during operations.
• Collect, document, and report mechanical and vehicle-related feedback to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and site personnel to troubleshoot escalations and handle incidents.
• Coach autonomous vehicle operators through quality assessments and ride-alongs, and train and certify new operators where applicable.
• Test software changes with a focus on safety, interact with riders, and represent hirify.global during demonstrations, site visits, and Q&As.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a fast-adapting, customer-focused environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Strong technical aptitude, communication skills, attention to detail, and judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, stand for prolonged periods, move frequently, climb ladders occasionally, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with a laptop and Google Workspace applications.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related field.
• Prior experience in operations or logistics.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
