Vehicle Tech Line Specialist (EV)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; onsite role with travel as required for training, dealer development, field investigations, and customer support.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Support customers, dealers, Authorized Service Providers, and internal stakeholders with vehicle operation, maintenance, warranty, roadside assistance, and service-network inquiries.
• Own service cases from initial contact through resolution, maintaining accurate records of complaints, causes, corrections, authorizations, approvals, communications, and follow-up actions.
• Provide diagnostic direction and technical assistance for complex mechanical, electrical, warranty, and field-service issues.
• Coordinate escalations with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Production, Supplier, and field-service teams.
• Review and authorize warranty, policy, goodwill, parts, and Return Material Authorization requests.
• Support recalls, field campaigns, service bulletins, product improvements, process enhancements, labor standards, and service documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent education, training, and relevant experience considered.
• Experience supporting automotive, commercial vehicle, electric vehicle, fleet, or technical service operations preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic aptitude, including the ability to interpret technical documentation, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software; ability to travel as required.
