Site Operations Manager II (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States — onsite. The role covers shifts outside normal business hours and requires travel.

Salary: $73,000–$90,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead Site Supervisors, Technicians, and contracted Autonomous Vehicle Operators to run reliable shuttle operations.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards and build a strong safety culture.
• Implement daily operating protocols, reporting, and performance metrics to improve site outcomes.
• Manage site spending, operating budgets, customer service, and passenger experience.
• Partner with People Operations on staffing and performance decisions.
• Coordinate with engineers and Field Operations on technical escalations, leadership training, and vehicle technology rollouts.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related field, or comparable experience.
• At least 3 years of people-leadership experience in a fast-adapting, customer-focused environment.
• Experience developing processes, managing projects, and making decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to undergo a driving record check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, climb ladders occasionally, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related field.
• Startup leadership, change management, or operations and logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, Jira, and Asana.
