Assembler Technician

Location: Onsite in Olathe, Kansas, United States; assembly work takes place in an indoor fabrication shop.

Salary: $47,950–$70,323 per year, plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and isometric schematics.
• Fabricate skid bases by drilling, tapping, bolting, and fastening pumps and other components.
• Position and align industrial pumps, valves, sensors, agitators, and related system components.
• Measure, cut, thread, and install stainless steel and PVC pipe spools.
• Perform pressure tests, functional checks, inspections, and quality verification to identify leaks or defects.
• Operate forklifts or hoists, maintain assembly tools and machinery, and optionally install basic conduit and wiring.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience or knowledge in plumbing, basic hydraulics, or electrical wiring.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and create tight, leak-proof mechanical connections.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, PPE use, and handling potentially hazardous materials.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications or an associate degree in fluid power or industrial technology are valued.
• Ability to work onsite in the Olathe fabrication shop.
