Assembler (Manufacturing)

Location: US-IN-Terre Haute; in-person and on-site attendance required

What you will do

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, hydraulics, and accessories on JLG and Jerr-Dan products.
• Use power, pneumatic, and manual tools, including wrenches, hammers, and torque guns.
• Operate an overhead crane to position parts and accurately measure, drill, and tap components.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions to identify required product options.
• Lift and stack parts and subassemblies, with solo lifting up to 35 pounds and team lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Work across multiple assembly areas while maintaining quality, safety, and 6S standards.

Requirements

• Regular and reliable in-person attendance at the Terre Haute manufacturing site is required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as production demands require.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, climbing, and tool use.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Personal protective equipment must be worn when required.

Nice to have

• Six or more months of manufacturing or general labor experience.
