International Trade Administration Team Leader (Supply Chain & Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead and coach a six-person Trade & Documentation team, establish team routines, and support performance evaluations.
• Ensure complete and timely documentation for road, sea, and air shipments, including customer- and country-specific requirements.
• Supervise customs administration and reporting, maintain licenses and authorizations, and liaise with customs authorities.
• Oversee certificates, sanitary documentation, preferential origin checks, commodity code validation, supplier declarations, and sanctioned-goods screening.
• Coordinate invoicing checks with accounting, treasury, and finance to prevent month-end issues.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on automation initiatives that reduce workload and improve process reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Solid experience in an international logistics or trade environment.
• Strong knowledge of international documentation for road, sea, and air shipments.
• Experience with trade compliance is preferred; customs specialization is an asset.
• Structured, accurate, process-minded approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and at least conversational Dutch and French required. Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
