What you will do

• Develop and implement a global trade strategy to ensure full regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on trade-related risks and opportunities amidst increasing tariff barriers.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations to integrate trade and customs considerations into business processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to resolve potential compliance issues.
• Oversee the implementation of trade technology platforms, automation, and AI-based tools.
• Lead and mentor a global team of 4–6 trade specialists, focusing on upskilling and leadership development.

Requirements

• Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
• Must be based in or able to work from Morristown (NJ), Portsmouth (NH), or Manchester (UK).
• Extensive experience with US trade regulations and practices.
• Proven people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing global teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience in the CDMO, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical industry is a plus.
