Logistics Supervisor (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Lead the Materials and Logistics team, set priorities, manage workloads, and maintain clear ownership of responsibilities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports through feedback, skills development, standard work, and performance discussions.
• Coordinate accurate and compliant domestic and international shipping, including export documentation, commodity coding, customs requirements, export controls, and courier selection.
• Run daily stand-up meetings covering safety, quality, delivery, inventory, priorities, constraints, and actions.
• Maintain inventory, replenishment, warehouse discipline, cycle counting, stock accuracy, and issue-resolution processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across materials handling, stores, dispatch, and replenishment while developing carrier relationships and resolving shipment issues.

Requirements

• Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system in logistics, stores, materials, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, FIFO, stock accuracy, replenishment, cycle counting, and stock control.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements, including manual handling, warehouse safety, and environmental practices.
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, delegating, and holding a team accountable for delivery.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and reporting tools, with financial awareness of material prices, freight methods, and departmental spend.
