TL;DR
UK Export Processor Team Lead (International Trade Operations): Leading UK export and import operations across multiple sites with an accent on customs compliance, logistics coordination, and team development. Focus on resolving trade execution issues, improving processes and costs, and coordinating freight forwarders, customs brokers, and supply chain stakeholders.
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom; hybrid working options. Occasional travel is required, typically for a few days per year.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK Trade Operations team.
- Manage daily export and import activities across UK sites.
- Act as the escalation point for trade execution, customs, and shipment issues.
- Coordinate freight forwarders, customs brokers, hauliers, shipping lines, and 4PL providers.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export and import requirements, and Incoterms.
- Monitor performance and lead operational excellence, process optimisation, business transformation, and cost improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A-Level education or equivalent.
- Experience in export/import operations, logistics, trade operations, or customer service in an international environment.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of export/import documentation, customs processes, and Incoterms.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
- SAP R/3 experience, plus knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes and Inward Processing Relief.

- Supply Chain, Logistics, or Customer Service qualification.
- Manufacturing sector experience.
- Experience delivering process improvements and cost optimisation initiatives.
