Senior Project Manager

Location: United States of America. Candidates near San Antonio, Texas work hybrid with two days in the office; candidates elsewhere in the United States may work 100% from home.

Salary: $119,583.00–$175,388.40 per year, depending on geographic market, skills, knowledge, and experience. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Lead complex infrastructure, cloud, transformation, migration, managed services, and professional services projects from initiation through closure.
• Establish project governance, delivery methodologies, reporting structures, decision-making forums, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Act as the primary customer-facing delivery lead and trusted advisor for executives, sponsors, IT leaders, and business stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, commercial performance, financial results, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare executive updates, steering committee presentations, governance packs, and business-focused reports on project health and critical decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor project managers while supporting pre-sales, customer growth, and transition to business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience managing complex technology projects and programs, including enterprise-scale customer engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience in client-facing professional services, managed services, cloud services, IT infrastructure, or technology consulting, including Statement of Work-based projects.
• Experience delivering private cloud, infrastructure, networking, security, migration, hosting, managed services, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong customer engagement, executive communication, financial management, commercial awareness, risk management, negotiation, leadership, and mentoring skills; experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work.
• Program management experience across large multi-workstream initiatives.
• Experience identifying customer expansion opportunities and driving growth.
• Additional cloud or technology certifications.
