Project Engineer (EV & Energy Storage)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States

hirify.global manufactures cylindrical lithium-ion cells for electric vehicles in collaboration with Tesla at a large-scale battery manufacturing facility near Reno, Nevada.

What you will do

• Support the setup and operation of heat-transfer systems, including oil heaters, hot oil skids, heat exchangers, and heat fluid transfer systems.
• Communicate project scope, designs, and deliverables to contractors, project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate changes to project scope, design, and construction methods.
• Track and report project progress, deliverables, delays, impacts, and improvements.
• Conduct daily field walks, attend meetings, document decisions, and report updates.
• Identify issues, develop solutions, manage resources, and support engineers and contractors under the facility construction supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial facility management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on industrial experience designing, setting up, or operating oil heaters, hot oil skids, heat exchangers, or heat fluid transfer systems.
• Strong analytical, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD.
• Ability to walk or maneuver approximately 3 miles per day in the factory and work in a construction environment.
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required. Compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements is also required.
