Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; remote work permitted 2 days per week

Salary: $122,311–$150,000 per year, plus discretionary bonuses and profit-sharing.

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets from internal and external sources to produce actionable business insights.
• Identify data patterns, trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve automated aggregation and transformation rules.
• Reverse engineer calculation samples to validate and replicate client-specific methodologies and requirements.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and translate functional and technical requirements, including gap analysis against business objectives.
• Develop and execute test plans, identify system defects, and support resolution to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
• Manage project plans, risks, data migration, deployment planning, production implementation support, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• Five years of experience with advanced data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Production data querying and validation using SQL.
• Data transformation, cleaning, and validation from raw data into accurate structured formats, including exception and inconsistency checks.
• Automated data processing, workflow management, functional and technical requirements gathering, and testing.
