Materials Supervisor - Nights (EV & Energy Storage)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States; night shift, B Shift

What you will do

• Supervise employees involved in raw-materials management, including hiring, training, work assignment, performance management, and employee relations.
• Plan labor according to production schedules, assign daily responsibilities, monitor KPIs, and support operations when staffing is limited.
• Oversee inbound and outbound materials and coordinate material movements to and from the PECNA dock.
• Coordinate receiving capacity and shipment planning with logistics partners and Tesla representatives.
• Monitor PIT equipment inspections, PPE compliance, safety requirements, payroll tracking, and operating procedures.
• Drive inventory accuracy and continuous improvement through cycle counting, inventory control, and quality and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus an associate or technical degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience, strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven cycle counting and inventory control experience; ability to perform accurate material counts and basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience with warehouse management systems or ERP platforms such as SAP, MES, or Oracle, plus Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to operate or use manual and motorized pallet jacks or lift trucks; familiarity with LOTO, FIFO, lot numbers, and PPE requirements.
• Working-level English proficiency is required, and candidates must have valid unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• High-volume manufacturing experience, particularly in electric components, chemical, medical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• VMI, cross-dock, Lean, and 5S experience.
