Production Manager - Inventory Control (Electrode)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. Monday–Friday day shift; minimal travel may be required. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.

What you will do

• Lead execution and governance of incoming and outgoing inventory across operations.
• Maintain visibility and control of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Run inventory dashboards and early-warning triggers to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, and unhealthy WIP.
• Drive discrepancy investigations, corrective actions, and recurring countermeasures.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Receiving, Shipping, Production, and Quality to maintain inventory integrity and FIFO discipline.
• Lead inventory control analysts or assigned team members and govern weekly cycle-count execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience and demonstrated ability to manage multi-shift execution.
• Ability to drive plan attainment and maintain safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people performance.
• Experience with inventory handling, storage requirements, quality holds, segregation, disposition, and audit-ready records.
• Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
• Ability to work onsite and comply with PPE requirements, including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and potential hazmat protection.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in a related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification.
• Experience in regulated or traceable environments and cycle-count or physical-inventory governance.
• Working knowledge of ERP, MES, or WMS inventory transactions and documentation discipline.
