TL;DR
Inventory Material Review Board Supervisor - Electrode (Manufacturing/Inventory Operations): Managing nonconforming material decisions, inventory accuracy, and material flow across high-volume electrode manufacturing with an accent on MRB processes, discrepancy analysis, and production support. Focus on investigating material-flow issues, coordinating scrap disposition, creating non-conformance reports, and maintaining MES/SAP inventory records.

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; onsite. Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do

  • Evaluate nonconforming incoming and outgoing materials and determine their impact on production, processing, reliability, and customer obligations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory status and track material flow across processes and inventory locations.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts, lead inventory activities, and publish discrepancy reports.
  • Coordinate abnormal scrap analysis and disposition, including management approvals.
  • Create non-conformance reports and complete MES submissions and approvals for SAP.
  • Investigate material-flow issues, maintain Material Review Board files, and review findings with management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of progressive manufacturing or operations experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ASRS and extensive knowledge of MRP systems.
  • Working-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to work onsite, perform physical activities including sitting, walking, standing, and lifting, and use required PPE.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of MES and material flow within manufacturing processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with continuous process improvement experience; Green Belt or higher is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, planning, and deadline-management skills.
