Guidewire Platform Developer (Guidewire)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Configure, integrate, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Develop hands-on solutions in Gosu and design Guidewire integrations using messaging, batch, and plugins.
• Configure product models and rules and support Guidewire Cloud platform upgrades.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready insurance-platform features with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute through code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States is required; applicants may be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or candidates eligible for an H-1B transfer. New H-1B petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of Guidewire development experience, with six or more years listed for the position.
• Deep Gosu and Guidewire data model expertise, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter customization.
• Experience with product model and rule design, Guidewire Cloud, SQL, and the Guidewire database schema.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Guidewire ACE certifications.
• Guidewire Cloud upgrade experience and familiarity with Digital portals or DataHub/InfoCenter.
• Property and casualty insurance expertise, including reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs.
