Guidewire Technical Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure, integrate, and customize the Guidewire Insurance Suite, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Develop hands-on solutions in Gosu and work with the Guidewire data model, product model, and rules.
• Design messaging, batch, and plugin integrations and support Guidewire Cloud implementations.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable insurance-platform features with product, design, engineering, operations, business analysts, and SMEs.
• Participate in code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of Guidewire development experience; the position overview specifies six or more years of experience.
• Deep expertise in Gosu programming, the Guidewire data model, product model, and rule design.
• Hands-on customization experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter, plus familiarity with Guidewire Cloud.
• Experience building Guidewire integrations and strong SQL, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Applicants must be able to work remotely from the United States and hold appropriate U.S. work authorization.

Nice to have

• Guidewire ACE certifications.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades, Digital portals, DataHub, or InfoCenter.
• Insurance expertise across P&C lines, reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs.
