Regional Director Critical Infrastructure (Data Center)

Location: Miami, FL, United States. Relocation package options are available.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and operating oversight across assigned regional data center facilities.
• Manage contract bidding, vendor selection, vendor performance, and maintenance program activities.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, change control, methods of procedure, and documentation comply with company and risk management standards.
• Manage annual maintenance budgets, repair expenses, capital submissions, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Assess infrastructure risks, equipment end-of-life requirements, failures, and lifecycle replacement recommendations.
• Lead personnel functions, training, emergency response, and collaboration with internal teams, public agencies, and vendors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working in a data center environment.
• Strong knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including generators, UPS systems, transformers, distribution, chillers, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Functional knowledge of HVAC, fire alarm, BMS, and electrical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Certification or formal electrical training is preferred.
