Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician (Data Centers)

Hourly pay range: $35.00–$45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life-safety, temperature control, building management, and digital security systems.
• Perform and track preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance through electronic work-order systems.
• Inspect buildings, lighting, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs.
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including replacing bulbs, ballasts, and fuses as permitted by experience.
• Service plumbing fixtures, clear clogged lines and drains, and operate hand and power tools.
• Monitor building conditions, conduct property tours, maintain tool and equipment inventory, and assist with moving and storing supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical critical facilities systems is beneficial.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime, including occasional weekends and schedule adjustments.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform physical work, climb ladders occasionally, and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
