Operational Excellence / Production Systems Lead (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; onsite. Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do

• Optimize production output and reduce non-value-added waste in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify improvement opportunities and quantify their value.
• Implement Lean, 7-Step, DMAIC, Kaizen, and 5S practices to improve SQCDP performance, material flow, operator efficiency, and machine capability.
• Translate process-improvement findings into factory standards, standard work, and sustained improvements.
• Lead and manage multiple improvement projects across operations and support functions.
• Communicate findings and drive change across multiple organizational levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and the ability to implement Lean tools and methodologies.
• Strong technical background in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel macros.
• Ability to understand complex equipment capabilities, operations and material flow, and data flow.
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of industrial or process engineering experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
