What you will do

• Analyze product designs and create work instructions, process procedures, and manufacturing operation sequences for production/assembly.
• Develop process routings, labor standards, and production readiness plans for shop-floor control and proposal cost estimating.
• Prepare labor, material, tooling, and equipment cost estimates; support capital equipment specifications, justification, installation, and start-up.
• Design tooling and fixturing; implement statistical process control and run process capability studies on critical processes.
• Conduct process audits and time studies to optimize existing processes and eliminate waste; lead periodic Kaizen events.
• Create manufacturing documentation (MPs, DCNs, SWIs) and develop PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) for required production processes.

Requirements

• US citizenship required due to U.S. Government export control/contractual requirements (ITAR-related).
• B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
