Physical Security Engineer (Data Center Security)

Location: Remote, Dallas, Texas; U.S. Citizenship required and a background/security investigation must be successfully completed.

What you will do

• Administer, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise physical security platforms, including Lenel, CCure, Exacq, BioConnect, and similar systems.
• Deploy and maintain access control, CCTV, alarm, camera, controller, and related security infrastructure.
• Monitor systems and alarms, coordinate incident response, perform health checks, preventative maintenance, testing, and scheduled on-call support.
• Design and implement physical security systems for new facility builds and retrofit projects, including site inspections and compliance documentation.
• Manage credentials, inventories, tickets, asset records, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with IT, Networking, data center operations, project managers, customers, vendors, contractors, and service providers.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in physical security, system administration, or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining access control and CCTV systems.
• Working knowledge of enterprise access control and surveillance platforms such as Lenel, CCure, Exacq, BioConnect, and Genetec.
• Experience with structured cabling, IP networking, system power requirements, schematics, blueprints, and as-built documentation.
• Knowledge of physical security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to critical infrastructure, including FedRAMP, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53.
• U.S. Citizenship and successful completion of a background/security investigation are required.

Nice to have

• Manufacturer-specific certifications, CompTIA Security+, or PSP.
• Experience coordinating contractors, service providers, and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with project budgeting, lifecycle management, and change control.
