What you will do

• Assess, document, and integrate BMS, HVAC, lighting, energy, and IoT systems into cloud platforms.
• Configure cloud infrastructure and data pipelines for secure, reliable transfer from on-premises building systems.
• Implement encryption, authentication, access control, and data privacy measures for building and operational data.
• Analyze system data and prepare reports on building performance, sustainability, and operations.
• Test and troubleshoot data transmission, system compatibility, network connectivity, and system performance.
• Collaborate with IT, security, networking, infrastructure, facility management, and operations teams while supporting and training on-site staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in building automation systems, cloud integration, or IT infrastructure, including design and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with systems integration and digital or smart building projects.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, edge computing, and IoT data preprocessing.
• Technical expertise in building controls and automation, IP networking, system audits, and site surveys.
• Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services, including data storage and IoT hubs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Niagara, Distech, Delta, or LoRaWAN BMS systems and related certifications.
• Cloud platform certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Apps Script.
